What is Doctor's Pain Formula made from?

Doctor's Pain Formula is a unique and patented blend effective ingredients, including 11 natural herbs. The formula includes:

Emu Oil

Menthol

MSM

Aloe Vera

Glucosamine

Sodium Hyaluranate (hyaluranic acid)

Vitamin C Ester (ascorbyl palmitate)

Vitamin E (tocopherol)

What is the benefit of Emu Oil?

Emu oil has many amazing properties, which include the ability to absorb quickly and deeply into the skin and to carry with it the oil-based ingredients in our products such as certain herbs and vitamin C.

What is the benefit of Menthol?

The FDA and Health Canada require a minimum level of 1 .25% of menthol as an active ingredient for a product to be registered as an over-the- counter topical pain reliever. Our product contains a level of 1 .4% menthol, derived from natural peppermint. This was the amount found to be the most effective in combination with our other ingredients for relieving pain, without being so high that it caused an unpleasant burning or freezing sensation on the skin.

What is the benefit of MSM?

Methylsulfanomethane, or MSM, is a naturally occurring sulfur compound that is hydrophilic, or water attracting. Used topically, it aids in absorption into the skin and carries along with it water based ingredients including some of the herbals in our products as well as attracting water based fluids to the affected area which helps lubrication.

What is the benefit of Glucosamine?

The cause of wear on the joint area can be attributable to inflammation as well as insufficient lubrication and cell membrane fluidity. Glucosamine has been clinically studied to show an increase in the range of motion and relieving pain. Glucosamine assists in the rebuilding of cartilage and the overall structure of the joint and has shown moderate effects on people with osteoarthritis.

What is Sodium Hyaluranate?

Sodium hyaluranate, or hyaluronic acid, is very similar to synovial, a fluid produced by the body to lubricate joints. Like MSM, it also helps to carry water-based ingredients and herbs deep into the affected area.

What is Vitamin C Ester?

The vitamin C in our product, ascorbyl palmitate, is an ester compound and a known anti-oxidant. Current studies indicate that vitamin C helps the body reduce pain, as well as other benefits such as fighting free radicals and boosting the immune system.

What is the benefit of Vitamin E?

Vitamin E (tocopherol) has known anti-oxidant properties as well as its ability to assist the body fighting free radicals and repairing DNA.
